How to record both audios ( Microphone - from my end ) , ( Speaker - from students end ) for an online class ( Google meet ) ? There is no need for video recording. And the browser will be Firefox.

OBS would be capable of this. You can also separate the audio streams in the same file.

I use it to record games but you just need not select a video source and it'll record only audio.

Mine generates 3 audio streams:

  • all audio and microphone
  • just audio output
  • just microphone

Then I edit as needed in Kdenlive to get the audio stream that I want for the final cut if I'm posting it somewhere. If you're not posting it, you can just use something like VLC to replay that audio and select which stream you want to hear.
