Is there anything I can do to filter out bots? I cant see anything else except reposts from Reddit. Its multiple communities too so I cant easily filter it out. Its mostly the bots from zerobytes.monster.

How many different bots are there? Can't you just block them?

There is an option to block all bots in the settings, but some mods use those for regular threads, so that might prevent you from seeing those

They post so much their profiles just timeout for me in Jerboa. Luckily I can block them one by one.

Yes, https://zerobytes.monster/u/bOt is really a monster with 1.87 million posts in 3 months. I can open that page, but when I open it from lemm.ee, it times out: https://lemm.ee/u/bOt@zerobytes.monster

So I just ran into this problem and am searching for a solution. Your post is one month old now. How's it going, did you find a solution for you?

Nope. I don't want to block all bots since there are also good ones. I have no idea what the point of that bot is, it doesn't really contribute anything to Lemmy.

Right, exactly my position.
