:q!Either that or ":wq" if you actually want to write things. These are the only commands one really needs to use VIM in a most basic sense. I don't get how it's so hard to remember or whatever
:xif you want to save a keystroke ;)But using ZZ to tuck that file into bed is the only way I can do it now
