My wife loves putting all the produce in plastic bags at the store. It has to do with contamination, especially keeping it from touching the conveyer. What solutions would you recommend to avoid these one-time use bags?

I use reusable produce bags. Some have their tare weight on it but I don't think its really enough to make a huge difference. Also I figure I'm going to wash my produce anyways.
