The service costs $695 up front for a 25 kWh battery, and $995 for a 50 kWh battery, the company's website states. Clients pay a monthly recurring cost starting at $20 a month after install.

Pretty good initial cost. Would be better if there wasn't a monthly fee though.

Wow, that seems like a great price, almost too good to be true.

20/mo. x 120mo. + 695 =

$3100 over the 10 year (average) lifespan is cheaper than buying 25kwh yourself to diy.

Oh wait, there's a catch! You're still paying 9¢/kwh from the battery.
