Just the coolest album ever! Miles's cover of Down By The River is what introduced me to this album. I don't know if I have ever listened to an album where the singer gives off such a sexy and confident vibe. An almost defiant nonchalance pervades over this album that i completely love.

What'd you brew most recently?

So, i brewed a light lager this winter and finally cracked into those 2 weeks ago.

In terms of general alcohol, my buddy and i are currently running a neutral spirit we made from tomato paste through the still.

nice. I never much got into lagering because I never had the storage space.

Are you using a traditional still or a reflux still? I kinda quit brewing/distilling when I had my second kid and bought a fixer-upper on the same day in 2016, but I still have all the parts for a bokakob sitting in my garage (and my brewing stuff, too). The kids are getting older, it's probably time to break out one of the old brewing systems and rebuild the keezer.

I have been lucky that i have had access to a basement the past few places i have lived.we also have jad some VERY cool winters/springs the past few years in NW Ohio, so my lagers have tirned out great every summer. My dad used to home brew 30 years ago when i was a toddler. The smell of it is burned so deeply into my memories that I think of him brewing beer everytime I smell the kiss kf the hops. He also gave up on home brewing when i was young because we kept moving and he couldn't get a good setup. He lugged that gear around wothout touching it for 12 years before giving it away.

The still behind the carboy actually does both. We ran it in a traditional manner last week to distill the tomato paste and make the neutral spirit. We have been running the reflux all day while watching baseball.
