Which is odd given that Hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada.
Wasn't canadian bacon invented in the US? We don't have it here in Canada, I think it's just peameal bacon. Why do Americans call it that, do you put maple syrup on it or something?
I know lots of people that have never bothered to try the decidance of pineapple and ham

You can do what you want, as long and I get that sweet/salty mix on my pizza!!
You can call it decadence all you want but wet pizza toppings are objectively bad for the quality of the pizza. It doesn't matter how much you pat it dry, that pineapple weeps liquid as it cooks and makes the texture of the cheese beneath it gross.
