Fuck no.

The RCMP is problematic to say the least, both from a historical perspective and also their modern practices.

But provincial forces are worse, and can too easily controlled by partisan governments. Just look at what Smith is trying to do here in Alberta.

Provincial forces being too strong does worry me as well, but as long as they are not militarized it might not be so bad. I wish people were a bit more wise to the bad people in our political system like Smith though. This whole politics as a team sport needs to end, "lifelong conservative or liberal" or whatever shouldn't even be a thing..
