Don’t blame them. It’s really complicated for them, you need to multiply or divide by 10th to convert. That’s Math! Don’t try to explain that to someone who uses his Feet to measure things. At least NASA uses the metric system (because they know is better), but don’t tell that to US Americans.

Im under the impression most of the US uses metric when it comes to interacting intenationally. It's just the "last mile" type labeling for shelves that's converted. I.e. Lowes orders 1524 meters of lumber cut into 30.48 meter boards from international shipping which looks like a weird order but on the shelves turns into 5000 feet of 100 foot boards.
