I'll never understand why this sort of thing is okay with people. Especially here on Lemmy.
It takes minimal effort to find a better copy. If you think it takes longer, then that's because you never do it and you just need to do it a few times. With this small step we can make Lemmy significantly better than the rest of the Internet.
looks fine to me, the problem is on your end, or it's intermittent somehow.
The difference is clear. Left I took a new screenshot and pasted it over the exact same image.

However, you've just provided even more evidence to the root of the issue. People are ignorant to what decent quality looks like. The image would be even better if it had a higher resolution than 480x480.
