I was just looking at an event ticket and wondering what happened with this proposal!

The FTC estimates that the Junk Fees Rule will save consumers up to 53 million hours per year of wasted time spent searching for the total price for live-event tickets and short-term lodging.

I will miss Lina Khan so much! I hope we get to see more of her in the future. She's the best person with a vision of a bright future I've seen in government.

The final rule will become effective 120 days after its publication in the Federal Register.

I hope this rule gets left alone by the incoming admin. It doesn't forbid anyone from charging whatever they want, it just makes the price transparent and lets us not waste our time on sneaky crap it turns out we can't afford.

I would not mind her running in 2028

Not sure she can; she was born in the UK and moved to the US when she was 11

That would rule her out for president.

I first heard about her study about Amazon she did at Columbia.

I liked her at the FTC so much so I never learned where she was actually from.
