This is my most recent album, (about six weeks old at time of posting here!), it is made using Elektron Digitakt + Digitone, Allen&Heath Zed6 mixer and recorded with Zoom H6

In style it is, I suppose, hiphop, breakbeat, hiphouse and trankwave, maybe downtempo? (The BPM ranges from aprox. 90 โ€“ 115). There are nine tracks, and the album runs aprox. 55 minutes.

It is a beat driven synthetic space adventure.

If you dig on the tunes and don't have any cash,(or don't want to pay!), that's all good. The individual tracks are set to name your price. Just pop in zero to cop any, (all!), tracks you like. If you do find yourself with a spare dollar, please consider donating to a bail fund instead. Much Love!

Used the Voice Memo app to quickly record a couple of minutes of a rehearsal of the live set I'm working on at the moment. It's not a great quality recording, obviously, but I might do a proper bounce straight from Ableton at some point in the future.

If you listen carefully you can hear me breathing during the bass breakdown ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Thanks for listening!

This is probably one of the best tracks I've ever made for the game so far. Currently working on shaping up all of my compositions for the final release, thought I'd share this one and get some thoughts on mixing, arrangement and instrumentation!

The game is going to be set in space with some really tense combat gameplay, though we're actually thinking of reserving this track as a credits score, fits the mood well. Let me know what you guys think!

Do you know what you were doing at 15.02 on Saturday 25th February 2006?

Personally, I was recording take 34 of a banjo solo.

I've a backup on my current laptop of the hard drive from the laptop I was using at the time, including a few Cubase projects.

I ditched Cubase for Reaper in 2008 so can't open the projects but the raw audio files are in the project folders.

This is a re-working of a song called Debauchery, using the original recordings of vocals, acoustic bass, 12-string and, yes, banjo, though not they're not all the same takes I used in the 2006 version.

The drums/percussion and synth parts are new.

It's not finished yet and, as I've mixed it on headphones, it probably sounds ropey but I'm having fun.

This is the original 2006 version: https://pmudd.com/debaucherysc

I've been concentrating on improving my mastering for the last year or so after producing for a long time, and have just released a 2 track EP today that I wrote, produced, mixed and mastered myself. This is one of the tracks - thanks for listening!

(If there's any interest in this post at all, I'll post some Bandcamp codes in a few days when I've figured out how to generate them ๐Ÿ˜Š)

Here's a gift for your Bandcamp collection: codes for my first ever full album, Incomplete Watch Movement. It might be nearly 18 years old, but I'm still proud of it, and always surprised when I listen to it - knowing it was made using much simpler tools ๐Ÿ˜Š (made entirely in Reason 3)

I don't generally make this upbeat music but hey, gotta try new things.
